Mee the Noodle House

Ths is an authentic Malaysian-Chinese Restaurant with great stir fries and noodles. The chicken rice is great- tender boneless with fragrant rice, almost like the Singapore Mandarin's Chatterbox legend that would cost you 3 times more. The soup that comes with it is also nice. Other great dishes include the relatively new Penang Prawn mee soup- like a prawn bisque with noodles, pork and prawn stock. The crispy noodles in combination sauce and the "slippery egg"rice noodles are also long time favourites. The Char Kueh teow is one the Sydney's best. The seafood Mee goreng is a nice take on a Malay-Indian classic.

Popular among locals, great HorFun and one of the best Hainan Chicken rice in Sydney- almost like Singapore's Chatterbox but one third the price. The crispy combo noodles are great. Help yourself to chillis and chilli sauce. Mee Goreng, pad thai and Char Kway Teo also hits. Free prawn crackers above a certain amount paid! Do not expect great service- like a glorified food court.

I love this restaurant! I have been coming for years and everytime i came the food was amazing and it still is! I recommend the wonton nooble soup with egg noodles. Its great and its bery clean and cheap and the staff are very friendly

we travel from bergen to burwood, just for their food. my favorites are nasi goreng, seafood megoreng, sambal combination. great eating beautiful personal . they always know what I want when my family goes there,
