Entramos en conocer a Gerard el sábado para el brunch y no tuvimos que esperar mucho tiempo para una mesa. Pedí una mesa afuera, ya que teníamos al perro y tuvimos suerte de sentarnos en el encantador sol de otoño. El personal se aceleró de limpiar la mesa y tomar nuestro pedido y no teníamos que esperar mucho tiempo para nuestro café o comida. Pido el mejor sándwich de pollo asado con relleno, aioli y cohete, que estaba bien por $ 10, pero un poco seco con el pan a la relación de pollo. También pedimos los huevos de cilbir con Sucuk, Yogurt, Mint, Dill, Toast y Brussel Brights, que era delicioso. Las yemas de los huevos estaban líquidas, el Sucuk era picante, las Bruselas se cortaban en rod...
We popped into Meet Gerard on Saturday for brunch and didn't have to wait long for a table. I requested a table outside as we had the dog and were lucky to sit in the lovely autumn sun. The staff were quick to clean the table and take our order and we didn't have to wait long for our coffee or food. I order the best roast chicken sandwich with stuffing, aioli and rocket which was ok for $10 but a little dry with the bread to chicken ratio. We also ordered the Cilbir Eggs with Sucuk, yogurt, mint, dill, toast and Brussel sprouts which was delicious. The eggs yolks were runny, the Sucuk was spicy, the Brussels thinly sliced and was perfect with the herbs and yogurt dressing. It's a decent cafe...
Let's start with the delicious burger & fries. Well done, high fives galore... But, not that you asked. Imagine devouring a scrumptious burger (you with me?) and as soon as you lick the plate the sullen waitress languidly removes your plate with complete disinterest for how your meal actually was. Off she skulks into the kitchen. "We really enjoyed that!" but no one hears our cries of appreciation. It's only when we pay the bill that the lovely work experience fellow says "how was everything?" Phew. We will return for the burger, but not the apathetic waitress. As you were.

Meet Gerard is my top cafe in Sydney. It's got a minimalist design which I love and the staff are always friendly and helpful. The barista is incredible, I have never had a bad coffee! My favourite from the menu is the french toast which just continues to impress me each time, but honestly everything is good here. It is worth going out of your way for this cafe.
Conozca a Gerard es mi top cafe en Sydney. Tiene un diseño minimalista que amo y el personal siempre es amable y servicial. ¡El Barista es increíble, nunca he tenido un mal café! Mi favorito del menú es la tostada francesa que solo sigue impresionándome cada vez, pero honestamente todo está bien aquí. Vale la pena salir de su camino para este café.
