I am sad to see this place have 3.5 stars as of 3/6/2022. Its fantastic. I have come here twice in 2 days, dine in, and it's wonderful. The Guo Bao (pork belly and peanut sauce in folded fluffed up bread( is delicious. The soup dumplings are smaller than you might expect but well worth it. Even the fried rice is amazing with visible egg amd vegetables and not overly soy/salty. The sushi is great too, although if you're a sushi connoisseur it may not be the best to you. The Green tea mochi ice cream is an acquired texture but the taste is akin to matcha iced teas you can get at popular coffee shops, as well as the green tea boba. STAY AWAY from this place. Aside from a funny name, there is not much going for it. Forgot part of my order and Sushi was not fresh, not even cold. Had to spit it out. The second piece of tuna even looks off in the picture. Salmon was super light colored and didn?t taste right either. If I was to garner a guess I would say they are not selling sushi grade fish. If it is true, shame on them. Wife said I should call to let them make it right. I wouldn?t eat from this place again if I was paid to. It is not right that let food leave their establishment like that. They are going to make people sick. If I anyone in my family gets food poisoning I will be reporting it.
Ordered via door dash yesterday to try something new. Their delivery price is set at $5... So I assumed with this price point, incorrectly, that the food would be good. 3 cups chicken had cloves of garlic halved, not fully cooked nor the ends cut off. Ginger root was cut like a carrot in huge chunks without first being peeled and also was not cooked through. These were the vegetables provided in this dish. Crab wontons tasted like they had been fried with frozen sea food and black pepper. Absolutely disgusting. What a disappointment. I had high hopes this venue would be amazing, however, ended up throwing it all out without eating.
Mei Ting has been our favorite spot for Asian takeout for quite a while, but we decided to dine in last night. I have to say, the service was disappointing, and our meals did not meet our expectations either. There were only three tables occupied in the restaurant, and takeout orders weren't busy, yet we waited an hour and a half for our dinner to begin arriving. I didn 't order the food. I work as a receptionist at a facility that one of the employees had ordered from here. When the delivery person dropped the food off, I asked if he contacted the person who ordered the food if he let them know that it was here at the front desk for them. He was dropping it off walking away, he stated no they didn 't tip me so not my problem. And walked away. He wasn 't even driving. He was in the passenger seat of the vehicle.
Where has this restaurant been all my life? This was my first time dining here, and I’m absolutely blown away! The shrimp spring rolls were the best I've ever tasted. The duck was incredible, and the hazelnut truffle dessert—wow! The chef must be a dessert expert because the texture and flavor were unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. Truly outstanding!
I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant, thanks to the friendly and attentive service and the outstanding food. The Mapo Tofu I ordered was fantastic—just the right blend of spices and flavors. The portion size was generous, and I left feeling satisfied and happy! I highly recommend this place, whether for a nice sit-down meal or for takeout!
If you live in the surroundings, it is one of the better Asian restaurants, except sushi). Service is simple, quite fast. Some things were hit others were a miss.
