Mercat Bar And Kitchen

I went to mercat bar with my blogger friends to try the new menu of the bar. I entered the bar and was immediately greeted. I ordered a coke and sat down. the table was really beautifully decorated and the restaurant had many burning candles in wine bottles. what I love! all night the service was amazing! our waiter was super friendly and really welcome! the mercat bar kitchen on the west maitland street has been traded for some time in many different guises. her latest incarnation seems to have food as a strong focus, so I dived to check it. her daily menu offers a very wide selection of appetizers, sandwiches, salad plates, main dishes, burgers and various other whatnots.

great service and beautifully presented food. much more than her average pub bur. some seafood dishes that need an acquired taste. it's a great bar! I'm back.
