We really felt the love from our waitress!! What a special night… Personally we’ve had a very difficult summer with some significant health scares. We were dining out tonight to celebrate the successes and milestones moving forward!!! Our waitress inquired if we were celebrating anything and literally spent time hearing our story and asking us questions. She made us feel loved and heard and never rushed us. We spent a little over 2 hours ordering multiple courses to share and pairing them with great wines…. It was a beautiful evening and a wonderful experience!! Thank you for everything including the complimentary “celebration carrot cake!” Merchant remains one of our favorite places to dine...
We dined at Merchant on Tuesday so we could take advantage of their Date Night offering. The ambiance and dishes paired very well together. I noticed how light the music was and that created a more enjoyable atmosphere rather than loud music with people talking over it. I can appreciate a restaurant who includes thoughtfully prepared vegetarian dishes rather than ones without creativity and flavor. I can say that Merchant Madison delivered this to me and for that, I can guarantee I will return. Oh yeah, and the husband will too. P.S. thanks for a great night, Emma!
Grant was so nice! And our hostess (did not catch her name) was so accommodating to our needs. The food was great. I had the farmers market omelette and the sweet corn fondue. Will be back to try the shakshuka omelette!
Amazing spot right downtown! I was really impressed by their mocktail selection. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Their carrot cake is super delicious and a great way to end a fantastic meal.

I loved the aesthetic of the restaurant! My friends and I had a great time playing trivia and indulging in brunch for dinner. The food was all delicious and the service was top-notch.
Wonderful atmosphere, and it was a pleasant surprise Merchant wasn’t completely overbooked with reservations from the big Epic UGM conference.  Enjoyable atmosphere and tasty food.
Excellent food, one of the best meals I've had out in a long time! And a lovely cocktail menu as a bonus. We will be back!
