Meridian - Reserva de mesa

We decided to give this restaurant another chance, but unfortunately, we were disappointed. The pricing is much higher than similar sushi/sashimi restaurants, and the service is slow, even when asking to expedite the meal. The sushi/sashimi was good, but the cooked food was mediocre, and the seating was cramped. We can only give this place 2 stars. It seems like the best option is to focus on the bar area, which is beautiful. Lowering food prices and enhancing the bar offerings could attract more customers. As locals, we want to support local businesses, but it's challenging with this restaurant.

This place is fine. It 's not great, it 's not bad. It 's fine. There are better places in the area. I had the spicy calamari app and the linguini in clam sauce both okay. Seafood was cooked well, but the flavors were underwhelming. Menu is on the expensive side for portion size and food taste, but nothing too crazy. The whole meal was just okay. Meridian like the restaurant version of meh .

The food at this restaurant is consistently enjoyable, however, I highly recommend avoiding ordering wine by the glass. We were shocked to be charged $11 for a mere 4oz of wine. It felt like we were being ripped off. As locals who strive to support struggling establishments during the slower winter months, we are hesitant to return anytime soon.

Love this place! We get the mushroom and truffle pizza and the apex roll awesome! Great service and the bartenders are friendly too. I really love the organic sake and the restaurant just feels cozy and neighborhoody. Reserva una mesa ahora

The restaurant has declined and has become very costly. The sushi is no longer fresh, the place is empty, and there is no longer a sushi bar. The sushi is now made in a basement somewhere. We will not be returning.

What can I say except excellent food and service every time I visit Meridian. Where else on Long Island can you order Sushi, Meatballs or a Quesadilla and they're all phenomenal.

Chef Gary Would never put anything on your table that wasn't excellent. Looking forward to a night at his private chefs table two doors down.

Great restaurant in the center of Locust Valley. Very friendly staff and the sushi is fresh and delicious.
