Merry House Takeaway

I can't begin to express just how much we absolutely love merry house. it's the only one I eat. eating is excellent and they know that I am vegetarian and that I am more careful when preparing my food. it does not smell fresh and ranks like. eating in the rule of other Chinese places. it is a bit far from where I live, but we are always happy to travel and get great food!

I am not sure what the merry House is doing differently but the fish and chips we had tonight was probably the best we have ever had anywhere. The fish was a generous portion of cod and very fresh and the chips were crisp on...the outside and so soft on the inside. Absolutely great quality and by far the best in the area and beyond. Well done Merry House.

nice eating and friendly service only spoiled by the fact that the phone is not answered during the busy times, so they need to drive down, order, go home and collect back. could be solved by more employees to answer phone or website / app order. takes me away. with what else is a great farewell.

Not many places can do more than one cuisine to such high standards. Merry House Chinese menu is excellent from the duck pancakes to the chow mein. However their cod and scampi is also incredible and the chips taste triple cooked! Highly recommend! Reserva una mesa ahora

excellent eating and friendly service is spoiled here all the time. the best fish and chips (cod) in Britain at an excellent price. the singapur chow mine is also available. I'm a ancestral guest here because they're not better than merry house.

From the exterior you would be forgiven for thinking that this is just a local chippy but try the Malay dishes and you will realise that we have a real gem in the village. The staff are so friendly and always happy to give you...expert advice.

Food is always piping hot, excellent quality, great tasting and nothing is too much trouble...even just chips please We regularly place an order by phone and it's always available on time and handed over with a smile. Ty, Merry House.

came here from the blue for a fish and chips, enjoyed it so much that I went back to try their chineses, also really good! would recommend the squid and the Malaysian nasi goreng. faster service both paints, in any case again. Reserva una mesa ahora

Only tried the Malaysian dishes but they were delicious. Will definitely use again This takeaway has apparently won awards and if these dishes were anything to go by then we can see why

Reliable but average food always seems a bit over cooked but friendly staff and good value for money
