A friend of mine has been going here for a long time, and wanted to share this place with me. She and I have some dietary restrictions/allergies (for example dairy). They are very accommodating and work with you. This place opens at 11:30am. They greeted us kindly and sat us down right away. We came when it opened. They served cut mangos with chili while we waited for our food. If they don't, just kindly ask. I got the carnitas plate with no cheese on the beans. They give you a choice of beans you would like. My wife and I enjoyed an early dinner together. We 've been here a few times over the years. Staff are friendly, food is good, and the Cadillac margaritas are made how they 're supposed to be made. The place is pretty pricey, but that 's what Californians get by allowing $15 minimum wage to be implemented. I 'd give four stars, but giving three because of the surprise 3.5% kitchen appreciation fee on the bill. A sneaky way to charge more.
Best vegetarian Mexican food in Sacramento. Hands down. It's unbelievable. The building is also super cool. It's like eating in a garden. They have huge tvs with sports playing all the time. There's also a really pretty courtyard outside with a fire pit and fountain. This is an IDEAL date place.

Best Mexican restaurant I have been to in a long time. Finally found out favorite spot! Vegan and vegetarian options! Service was the best we had had in a long time. The hostess was the best. Looked the decor and overall atmosphere.
