This is definitely one of my favorite Sichuan noodle spots. The noodles and Sichuan spices blend perfectly together. The noodles have a great texture—neither too soft nor too firm. The Sichuan spice is just right; it delivers a wonderful numbness and heat without being overwhelming. I usually order the Chengdu ZaJiang noodles (not shown in the photos), the House Beef noodles, chili oil wontons, and steamed eggs with minced pork.
was looking for something light hearted on my last day of my LA trip and this definitely got the job done. you can definitely order something more flavorful but i was looking for bland and clear so pls don’t hate. it’s really cool how you can adjust the “mala” aka numbness of the broth along with the spice level. when we went it wasn’t that busy but as soon as we started eating the whole place was packed. ig u can call us lucky
Good food especially for the price. Not an amazing place for vegetarians but you do have 1-2 options. I got the cold noodles, which were just noodles with chili oil, green onions and an optional fried egg. The taste is great but does get a bit old (and also numbs your tongue a bit due to the schezuan spices). Vegetarian options: 1-2 vegetarian options, not a lot of vegetables or toppings but you can order sides like bok choy

I’m originally from Vancouver and recently visited LA on vacation. A friend of a friend recommended this restaurant, and I’m glad they did! The prices are very reasonable, and the portions are generous. The service was also quite good. The only downside is that it’s a bit far, especially if you’re coming from downtown LA, but overall, it’s definitely worth it!
Good place to have a quick authentic Chinese noodle dish. They provide 5 spicy levels for all noodles options. Dry and soup noodles are available here. Mung bean soup drink is great when having spice. Need to wait at rush hours.
The quality has gone bad.. ordered a spicy beef noodle soup, but there was way too much oil in it like I can't even taste the soup which was disappointing ...
Good place. Got the noodles and pork dumplings. Delicious and affordable. Nice chewy noodles. Dumplings were a bit dried and stuck to each other.
