I only recently discovered that this restaurant has opened in the old Fox Valley building. I was a huge fan of the original Fox Valley and would drive 60 miles just to eat there. Last night, I visited the new location for the first time, and the most important part—the crab cakes—are just as wonderful as I remembered. They are the best I've had in at least this state! We also tried some new menu items; the nachos were tasty, and the bread pudding was delicious, although we think it would have been even better if served warm. Then, I received a follow-up call from the bartender, who offered to cover the cost of my crab claws the next time I came in. I appreciated the offer, but I shared my concern that their food quality seemed inconsistent and that they really needed to improve. To my surprise, she responded by saying, "I’m done here," and abruptly hung up. I was simply providing feedback about my experience and was not rude in any way. It's frustrating to be treated rudely after already paying for another subpar meal. In summary, inconsistent food quality paired with unfriendly staff is not a good mix.
I just called to place a pick-up order at 6:42 PM and was told they were too busy to take my order. It seems the business is doing so well that they can afford to turn away loyal customers. I’ve decided I will never order from here again. I can only imagine the owner appreciates that their staff is turning away customers. I definitely do not recommend this restaurant!
The last time I visited this restaurant, it was the original Fox Valley. My wife enjoyed the crab cakes, which were just as amazing as I remembered. I opted for the fried catfish accompanied by a cup of gumbo, and it was delicious! The service was excellent as well. We arrived at 5 PM right when it opened.

I ordered the crab cakes, and they were delicious. However, the house salad was disappointing; it had too much lettuce, with just two slices of tomato and some onions. My friend ordered mashed potatoes, which were initially forgotten, but when they finally brought them out, they were hot and tasty.
I live in Utah and have been to this restaurant twice since my first review, and it just keeps getting better! Tonight, I ordered the catfish dinner and crab cakes, and they were absolutely fantastic! I highly recommend this place again! The bartender, Kelly, is a lot of fun!
This place is truly a hidden gem. The crab cakes are legendary, and for good reason. You can enjoy gourmet dishes in a casual setting, all at a fair price. Chef Dan even came by to check on us, which we really appreciated as first-time diners.
Fantastic food! This is one of the top restaurants in Shelby County. I really appreciate the staff, and Mikey is an excellent chef.

The best spot in Alabaster for an upscale dining experience. The food is excellent and the selections are quite good.
The dinner was absolutely delightful! The salmon was cooked wonderfully to perfection!
