Mikey’s At Fox Valley

I would give 2 1/2 stars, if possible. We have had some really good food at Mikey 's at Fox Valley and some really subpar food. Unfortunately, tonight was subpar. I ordered sautéed crab claws and a corn dog. The corn dog was soggy and bland. The crab claws were $25.00 for 22 small claws, 2 of which were inedible. When I called to express my unhappiness with the quality vs. the price of the food, the manager offered to credit me for the crab claws on my next visit. That was a nice offer, but we have eaten there multiple times and about half the time it has been great but the other half the food has not been good. I 'm not sure that I want to return for another subpar meal. Then..... I receive...

I live in Utah and have visited this place 2x since my initial review and it has been even better than my initial review! Tonight I got the catfish dinner and crab cakes and it was stupendous! I once again highly recommend! The bartender Kelly is a hoot!

Last time I was here it was the original Fox Valley. Wife had the crab cakes and they were great like in the past. I had fried catfish with a cup of gumbo. Very good! Service was great also. But we came at 5pm when it first opened.

Best place in Alabaster to get an upscale meal. Solid food and decent selections.
