I was excited to try Milano Torino restaurant. I made a reservation for two a week in advance and mentioned that it was a special occasion, my girlfriend's birthday. Unfortunately, my expectations were not met. The staff did not seem to have read my note and there was a lack of emphasis on welcoming new customers and attention to detail. The customer service was disappointing, with inexperienced wait staff who lacked expertise and attention to details such as refilling wine glasses or checking in during the meal. I recently booked this restaurant for a lunchtime work function. Not normally open for lunch on Fridays, the chef Dario opened specially for us and designed a set menu to suit our needs. This included making gluten free pasta for one of our guests who is a coeliac. Dario even came to table and explained the process to this guest to reassure her that her that every care would be taken to ensure her meal was ok for her. This level of care was very appreciated, as was the attention of Mia the wait person. My friend and I had a wonderful dining experience on a Thursday night at this restaurant. We were warmly greeted by the chef/owner and enjoyed the relaxed and cozy atmosphere. The talented chef prepared delicious dishes for us, including Arancini and stuffed mushrooms with pork and bechamel sauce as starters. For our mains, we had homemade Tagliatelle with Italian sausage ragu’ & saffron, and Potato gnocchi with creamy gorgonzola sauce & walnuts, both of which were amazing. The flavors and freshness of the meals took us back to Italy. We were impressed by the quality of the food and the welcoming environment of the restaurant. We can't wait to go back again.
Live nearby and finally took myself to Milano Torino for an impromptu dinner with my partner. What a great surprise. The food was fantastic - beautiful home made pasta, fresh salads and great homemade desserts. We had the ravioli and squid ink past was a standout. Service was good, the restaurant itself is nice and intimate. The price is reasonable (3 courses for 2 ppl, bottle of wine and a beer - $200)The menu is not extensive - which was fine for us (quality not quantity!) May be an issue if you are particular about your choices or cant eat certain foods. Would definitely go back again.

This is one of the best Italian's we've been to in Sydney. Starters, mains and desserts we're outstanding and we were also very impressed by the 'hands on' chef. Not impressed with the service. Our drinks were just thrust on the table, neither wine or water poured, a real let down. Also the waiters could not remember who's ordered what and waived the good around until claimed! Such a shame as we would have given 5/5.
My family and I went out for dinner at this restaurant. The staff seemed pretty busy and we had to flag them down to place our order and get the bill. The restaurant is on the small side, so it's definitely recommended to make a reservation for dinner. The food is delicious, although the portions are a bit small. Expect to pay around $30 for a meal.
Lovely place just in Alexandria. I loved the fact that the chef is coming to your table for present the dishes and advice for the best wine matching. We had ink squid black pasta and some good antipasto. Cozy place and nice staff.
I have wanted to check out Milano Torino for a while now The food was great I enjoyed the crispy skin prosciutto wrapped chicken which was great.

A wonderful team producing delicious food. I had the special of the night, a duck ragout pasta. Really tasty.
