I went with my parents and partner to have a steak lunch on Sunday, December 3rd. The atmosphere was wonderful, with a Christmas feel and very family-friendly. The service was good, although there was one mistake that was quickly fixed and we received apologies. Overall, I would give it a 4 out of 5. The food was excellent, we all had different steaks which were all delicious. I always recommend this place to others, especially for the amazing beef dripping sauce. Alexa was great but the over all service was shocking. Not enough staff to cover a Friday night in December. We had to wait over 10 mins for a drinks order to be taken and the same for the plates to be cleared. The food was fantastic as always but the service or lack of let it down. The steak was overcooked, ordered medium but received it well done. The service was a bit slow and it seemed like they had forgotten about us. I prefer Hinckley's service instead. Overall rating: Food 3, Service 2, Atmosphere 3. Dine-in lunch cost is £30-40 per person.
