Moby's Pub - Reserva de mesa

For a time the food at Moby's was fairly passable. Lately it's gone so far downhill that i will never eat there again. My last experience there was terrible. My order was supposed to come with fries. Once upon a time, if one ordered a dish with a side of fries it would come in a basket and it was almost too much food to eat. The last time i was there it was just the start of "tourist season", late spring. I sat on the patio, which has a very cool view of Ganges Harbour. I once took a photo from that exact spot and it was used by the magazine Pacific Yachting for their article, "Ganges grows Up". But i digress. Yes, the view is awesome but the view of my plate when it arrived was far less awe...

While moored at the Salt Spring Marina, we ate at Moby's several times. There is outside dining on the deck overlooking the harbor as well as inside. The service is very good and the food is excellent. In addition to the printed menu, daily specials are posted including homemade pies for dessert. Each evening there is a special event--on the Monday evening we were in the harbor on the boat, the entertainment from the bar rocked on for quite some time. Recommend it to anyone in the area.

Very long wait for good order, over 45 minutes. When the food did come, it was barely passable except for the fish and chips! Very salty, overcooked and what they call the brussels sprout salad was really an oily, partly burned stir fry.Will not come back here. The saving grace was our young server who was very pleasant and cheerful.

Moby's has an ideal location on the edge of town looking directly down the inlet which makes for a fantastic view when sat on the patio. Decent pub group on offer nothing spectacular but again nothing massively to fault just decent food in a great location. Would I come back yes probably if mainly for the view. Reserva una mesa ahora

We stopped after docking the boat Me wife had tuna I had a steak. Both were good this restaurant thinks out of the box a little Mine came with Brussels sprouts done very uniquely. I quite enjoyed it. Very good place for meal or drinks

Out of the market area but an easy walk. Lamb swarma could have used a bit more sauce or added to top Chili flavoured funions were delish Hickory smoked beef better than brisket Spicy chicken wrap was really good too

Sunshine on the deck, great selection of drinks. Highly recommend the Salt Spring Cider and the Picnic Fruit Punch IPA. We had Pad Thai and the Mushroom

Wednesday is wing night and the Moroccan rub wings are fabulous. Lots of food and excellent service. I'm a local and won't miss Wednesdays at Moby's. Reserva una mesa ahora

We had to wait a while to get in but the wait was worth it. Great staff and food, definitely worth the visit if you are on the island

A nice open restaurant and bar with good food and friendly staff. Choose to sit on the sunny patio or inside to stay cool.
