We visit the Chophouse often. We've had few issues in the past; however, I felt like tonight we were at a totally different restaurant. We don't know if new management took over or it's all new staff (we didn't recognize many of the faces) but everything was off. We had three children with us. The host obviously sat us. We still had to ask him for kids' menus and later on crayons. Our server had no idea what the specials were when asked. One of the reasons we love going there is for their yummy Caesar drinks. I agree with another recent Reviewer who said, "While the server was friendly the overall meal was poor.The restaurant its self at first glance,has a homey country look to it,but once you are seated the lighting is very poor,could barely see the menu.This place really could rethink their food presentation,which looked more like it was dumped where ever it landed on the plate."The windows were in need of a good cleaning and there was debris (trash?) all over the ground in plain sight outside the indoor dining area and the outdoor patio.We were a party of 6 adults and 2 children who went for a Birthday Dinner this evening (Augist 20, 2017) and had reservations for 5:30pm.Our server was very pl...

Celebrated two Birthdays last night, Sunday April 9th with our large group of 26 (24 plus 2 high chairs).....They do offer a private room for groups of 20 or more but then they would defer to a set menu....we opted for dining room seating and split the group to using a 2nd table....The waitress was pleasant and organized and quickly attended to our drink orders.....Being such a large family, it's hard to gather everyone together in one place at any time ...so we had lots of catching up to do.....the waitress took a while to get our dinner order as she didn't want to impose on our socializing, however, once she did, dinner didn't take too long and it was worth the wait.....everyone got exactl...

We decided to give the restaurant a second chance. Our first experience was so poor. The manager gave us a $25.00 gift voucher as an apology for poor service (the menus remained on the table for the entire meal, extra place setting remained. white wine arrived instead of red, my meal was good but my husband's was passable, saw little of the waitress...) Wow what a meal!! We stopped by this past Saturday - no reservation. We were seated right away on the bar side. Server was at our table within seconds for our drink orders. I asked a few questions about Steak Saturday. Our server was great at explaining the various choices available. I took her advice and ordered the bacon wrapped tenderloin and hubby ordered the peppercorn strip loin. Wow!!! So good. Not one mouthful of scraps left on either of our plates. Hubby was disappointed I ate everything on my plate - he usually gets the leftovers. Will definitely be returning. Can hardly wait to try the Schnitzel. Saw it being served to another table - it was huge, almost hanging off the plate. Job...

While the server was friendly the overall meal was poor.The restaurant its self at first glance,has a homey country look to it,but once you are seated the lighting is very poor,could barely see the menu.This place really could rethink their food presentation,which looked more like it was dumped where ever it landed on the plate.the schnitzel I had was overdone,hard edges of the darkish brown style.(Closer to black in some spots).Veggies seemed like they were just ran under hot water,Owners need to get on the ball to improve.

Decided to use the Chop House for date night. It was a great place for a date. They let us take our time and never rushed us once. Lauren was our server and an excellent one at that. You should ask for her section. We order the farmers platter which has enough food for 4 meal for me. They were out of schnitzel so they opted in wings which was perfect. We will be back.

It was a freezing day. I went in for salad and a glass of wine. I had beef stroganoff or som delicious beef meal. Meat is not my favourite but this one was. Handsome Ranch style decor. We lost ourselves in the cozy atmosphere, cozy decor, delicious food and excellent service. I want to go back soon and bring the family.

Can't beat the Wing Special on Wednesday at the Chop House. The wings are nice and big with lots of sauce options, yummy!

Great rustic horse / country atmosphere. Great food. Service pretty good - can be slow at times. But overall - good place
