I've been to this restaurant a few times, both by myself and with other people. This makes no difference in this small, friendly restaurant. Service is quick, friendly and efficient. It is a small restaurant having 13 tables in all, most seating 4 but larger groups can easily be accommodated. A self serve bar offers a vast array of vegetables, several noodle types, 3 choices of meat along with a vegetarian option of tofu. It is constantly replenished, cleaned and organized by staff. You fill your bowl and it is cooked. Simple as that. The only caveat is that if you pile your bowl over 6" beyond the rim there is a surcharge. While coming back from driving around town, we stumbled across this restaurant in New Westminster, BC. A week later, we stopped to try it out.As we've enjoyed many types of Mongolian cooking styles, this is the closest we've enjoyed. They have a polite staff and a good selection of meats and vegetables.The price is reasonable as they do have information pointing out that if you exceed six inches in height of food above your bowl, it becomes an all you can eat costs. Went for an early dinner with the family. The service was quick and friendly, the place itself - fairly small but very nice.When we arrived, the place was virtually empty, so we got our food very fast. But those who came in after us (and there was suddenly a lot of people) had to wait a bit - both to fill the bowl, and to have it cooked. Well, that cannot be helped when there is a sudden rush.The included soup was absolutely great, and everyone in the family found something they liked. In a family with four picky children, that is pretty rare.My only mistake was - didn't load the bowl higher!

Pros: you walk into this place and choose your own ingredients from the bar, put them into a bowl, then leave it to be cooked by the chef. Hot. Fast. Fresh. $9.75 lunch, $10.95 dinner, and $15 all you can eat. All come with rice and soup. Cons: informal, maybe not the best place to go if you're trying to impress someone. FOOD:  $9.75-10.75/entree.ATMOSPHERE: bright, 80-90s music, combination of tables and booth seating SERVICE: acknowledged as soon as I walked in, informal service generally. The restaurant we wanted to go was closed, so we decided to try this one. The idea is great: you serve yourself of everything you want, among beef, chicken and pork, a great variety of vegetables and creative sauce options. Then it is grilled and brought at your table. The service is really great!

I love this place as I like to make up my own bowl of what I like and sauces then they cook it up for me. Thai coconut soup is the best, and in the local paper there is always a buy one get one half off. So worth it either way.

Excellent "all you can eat" Mongolian grill. Cheaper price for a single helping (and you can any leftovers boxed up to go). Great friendly service. Lots of free parking at the nearby Royal City Centre mall.

Liked the mongolian food..It has a unique way to serve food for the customers ( instant cook after customer selects their own selection of item )
