We decided to give this restaurant a try since it has new owners. Unfortunately, the service was quite disappointing. They only serve margaritas made with house tequila, and when I requested a higher quality tequila, my server mentioned they didn't have a license for it yet, which didn't really make sense to me. The food was average, but overall, it wasn't worth the wait.
The succulent pork taco plate is delicious along with the very tasty black beans and rice. Not impressed with the margaritas though. They taste fine but I get more of a buzz with Tecate. Just get a beer with your food and you'll have a good meal.
No longer Montecasino. Now under new ownership. This is El Barrio III and the food is good. Menu is very small compared to Montecasino and the margarita is disappointing. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100

The restaurant is now named El Barrio 3. The food is delicious and affordable. Overall, I rate it 5 for food, 5 for service, and 5 for atmosphere.
The food is great, and the recreational facilities are perfect for families. The absence of alcohol adds to the peaceful atmosphere.
