For my drink, I chose the Coral Riff sour beer ($7 for a 10oz draft), which has a delightful guava flavor. It was incredible! The sourness made me pucker at times, but I would definitely order it again. As an appetizer, we opted for the cheese curds ($11). They were light and fluffy, and as someone who pays a lot of attention to texture, I can confidently say they were exceptional! I have had a great experience in the past at this restaurant. The food was always good and a beers were very tasty. I decided to bring a large group of friends while we were out biking to stop here and have some food and beverages. But when we got there the person greeting us was hostile asked us to not come in and was being very belligerent in his tone and manner asking us to not step inside until he told us to. I was appalled by his actions. Yes, I understand they were busy and I understand we were a large group but he could have been polite and handled the situation in a much more professional manner than being rude and telling us to back off and step outside. We started with the cheese curds, which were perfectly crispy on the outside and just the right amount of cheesy, served with a delicious chipotle ranch. The samosas were absolutely the best I’ve had in the Chicago area—the combination of flavors with the sweet green chutney and the red onion on top was simply perfect. As a first-time customer but a long-time fan of this establishment, I have to say that it's fantastic! The restaurant has a warm and inviting atmosphere with plenty of space. The beer selection is impressive, and the food is absolutely amazing. I tried the More burger, and it was so delicious that it literally melted in my mouth. It's a must-try! Your taste buds will definitely thank you for it.
Love more beer but the restaurant is alway hit or miss. It’s Covid time and as far as feeling safe ... it was all good in that department. However the server was way too slow with things and forgetful. Someone needs to coach these servers a little more. I still would always recommend it!
