Morton's The Steakhouse

I was at Morton’s last night to celebrate a birthday. The lighting was soooo dark in the dining area, that’s why I subtracted one star. But what really made me post this review was this; I ordered the pork chop with blue cheese butter. It was good. However I could not finish it and the waiter took it away and put it in a takeaway box. When I got home I noticed that he only put my pork chop in the container. There was absolutely NO blue cheese butter (it’s pictured in the gravy boat) and there was no jam (pictured in the small ramekin). Those two condiments made the pork chop special. Despite being located within the 2nd largest mall in America (though there is an exterior entrance) you would have no idea that is the case once you walk in. Morton's is properly lit and easy on the eyes. Joe, our waiter, was very personable and professional and was kind enough to accommodate a bar bites menu for my slightly picky teenager. He also picked a fabulous glass of wine to pair with my bone-in porterhouse that came perfectly cooked and seasoned. We never felt rushed yet the service was there whenever we needed anything. Let me just take a minute to express how INCREDIBLY amazing this place is. Kyle, the manager, greeted my husband and I and somehow knew it was my husband's birthday. He treated us like royalty (even though we both showed up in jeans) and the exquisite service didn't end there. Our server, Courtney, was the sweetest, most kind person in the world. All this great service was followed by the most amazing meal I have ever had!!! I have been to MANY steak houses in my lifetime but Morton's was BY FAR the best. Thank you all again for a memorable night! WE WILL BE BACK!!!

From the moment we met Nathaniel at the door we received the Morton's expected treatment. Our direct server was David. Accommodating above and beyond throughout the evening. Kyle, facility manager, came and introduced himself while presenting our wine selection. Every menu item ordered was as spectacularly prepared and paced properly as not to be rushed. My fiancé and I love to go to Morton's for our special occasions. We went yesterday for my birthday, and as usual, it was wonderful! The food is always amazing, we love the atmosphere and we have never had bad service. Our server last nigh was named Dave, and this is the second time we have had him. He is great and a lot of fun (and he looks like Seth MacFarlane! . Dave really helped make our night perfect!

Very elegant dining. I took my niece because I had a gift card to use (I normally cannot afford a restaurant this expensive), but the food was delicious. We had an 8 oz filet mignon cooled rare and pork chops cooked medium. Both were cooked to perfection and we especially enjoyed the pork chops! Our server was wonderful too.

Simply put…the worst experience at a high end steakhouse. Took two hours get our food and the manager came out twice and each time gave us another excuse. Always had great times here, but what has happened to this place??? Does this look like a medium steak?

Delicious meats and ambiance. Much better than Sullivan's. Lamb and ribeye was exquisite. Lobster cold or broiled was perfect.
