This place is next level. You need to go and get the vegan sushi platter. I was blown away took so many pictures to send to friends and family who just downright didn't believe that it was vegan. The flavours and variety are outstanding. I'd say the menu is 50% or more vegan, and it is extensive with all the dishes. There's a sushi train but I recommend just ordering off the menu. You can become a member for around £25 (as at Feb 2021) which gives you 50% off Mondays, Tuesdays AND Wednesdays for all vegan dishes. Seems too good to be true but it's real! We went through a big Moshimo Wednesdays phase before lockdown. Looking forward to going back!
Lovely authentic Japanese restaurant, so many vegan options. Stand outs for me were aubergine dengaku (the most delicious miso sauce) the vegan chicken yakitori. I had 4 of the small plates, rice and miso soup which was also outstanding. Have made several trips to Japan (pre vegan) found the flavours very authentic. Only the rice didn't quite meet expectations of traditional Japanese rice. Would happily eat here every week, but only visiting from North Yorkshire. Recommend whole heartedly. I felt prices justified by the quality of the food.
delicious fresh food, beautiful atmosphere and half of the menu is vegan. great for a mixed group of diet choices, as all with a good selection of options for my gluten-free palate also. if they want to try a new boot for some bits the pb sashimi is worth it, have tried to have it, but my top recommendations are the leek gyoza, chicken kang young, inari tofu packages, pb spicy tuna futomaki (or hand roll,) the pb 'kuru kuru' watched cheeksalmon maki (and a fan of the tron
sushi was my favorite dinner before I went vegan and I am so glad to have discovered moshimo to get my repair! the handrolls were my favorite, and the vegan fried garnels taste just as I remember real garnel tasting. it is worth a membership for half price from Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday for vegan dishes. the atmosphere was great and the manager is so plaunic and friendly

Vegan chicken, duck, salmon etc. Japanese and Korean styles among others. There is even bento boxes along with all the shashimi, hot main courses and other sushi and side dish items. There are also vegan events taking place as well.
such delicious food, so many vegan and vegetarian options and I love the decor and ambience at Moshimo too….basically one of my favourite restaurants in Brighton!
moshimo have so many options for vegans and have options that they normally cannot be veganized. the food is great! updated by previous review on 2021-04-20
about half of the menu here is vegan and we were blown away as similar it is to fish sushi. in any case worth a visit.

Had a wonderful lunch here, spent £20 on a vegan platter which was delicious and beautifully presented. Lovely venue.
