We visited this restaurant a few months ago and had an excellent dining experience. The place was quite empty, allowing for prompt and personalized service from our friendly and courteous waitress. We ordered several dishes, and everything was fantastic, especially the Korean fried cauliflower—it was so delicious that we ended up ordering a second serving at the end of our meal! We look forward to returning once everything reopens after the COVID-19 pandemic is over, but we hope to get some takeaway from here in the meantime!
This restaurant offers a brunch menu during the day and a selection of Japanese fusion dishes in the evening. The modern, dimly lit interior creates a semi-fine dining atmosphere. We ordered three dishes, and they all had the right flavor profile, but they lacked complexity, often leaning towards the sweeter side. The ribs were extremely tender, so much so that the bones could be easily broken.
Friendly staff and large menu to select from. Tried out the brunch here today and was pretty happy. I went for an almond milk matcha latte and the potato rosti which came with seared tuna and avocado and edamame bean smash. Very light and tasty. Possibly could have done with an egg though. Venue itself lacks a bit of ambience but that’s not a major issue
Mr Joe All Day is the new child of Martin and Yang Sun, opened earlier this year. With a simple monotone interior, bench seating and shoulder to shoulder bar stools, the atmosphere is not quite a relaxed Izakaya, but more funky Melbourne café. The design is geared towards evenings, and there is bench seating out the front for those wanting sunlight.

The food was good, but the service and cocktails were exceptional. It was relatively quiet when my group visited, so I apologize to the other guests for being a bit loud—I hope you didn’t mind too much, as we had a fantastic time. Overall, I'd rate the food a 3, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 4.
I appreciate the simplicity of the setup, though it can be a bit challenging to choose from the menu due to the abundance of great options. I highly recommend the Nanban stir fry if you're looking for a dish that combines both vegetables and protein, and it has excellent flavor!
Had the grilled salmon risotto and happy to say that I love it! The risotto was creamy and the salmon was cooked perfectly. It do think that it is a bit pricy $22) to justify coming here often but I will be back when I feel like splurging.
Exceptionally polite and attentive service. Beautiful dining space and atmosphere. I’ve tried many of them dishes here and they’ve all been fantastic. Coffee is good too. Definitely one of my favourite local eateries.

Great little cafe that quiet and has a great Japanese fusion menu. I got the pulled beef Benedict which was very tasty and had some great distinct flavours. Coffee was strong but good quality. Defs recommend.
