Highly recommend just calling the store rather than ordering online because the employees will not know how to troubleshoot the issue as they “don’t know how it works”. And because they don’t know they told me my order would be behind all the other orders. When I told them I’m cancelling everything their only response was “sorry”. The San Mateo location is probably a better bet in terms of customer service anyways.
I decided to check out this restaurant based on my friend's recommendation for their delicious sandwiches. Since it was my first visit, I wasn't sure what to order. Eventually, I made my choice, but to my disappointment, the sandwich came without lettuce, tomato, or mayo. To my surprise, the person taking my order didn't even ask if I wanted any toppings. I found this quite rude.
Ordered ahead but arrived in about 5 minutes. Staff knew I was there but my order was not ready until 10 minutes late and others that came and ordered at the counter while I was waiting got there orders before me. Lesson, don't order ahead if you're going to be early. Sandwich wad great as always. Fresh ingredients and the Dutch crunch bread is my favorite.
I was disappointed with my recent visit to Mr. Pickle's Sandwich Shop, especially since we often order here in person. The Tony Soprano sandwich was flavorful but unusually greasy and too salty, which isn’t typical. The Sandtrap sandwich also had only a small portion of roast beef. This Mr. Pickle's location stands out as the best among all of them. Their bread is consistently superior to that of other locations. I always opt for the Dutch crunch, which often comes out too tough or hard elsewhere, but here it’s just right. Plus, they’re generous with the cranberry sauce on the Slickster sandwich.
We requested white sliced bread but were given wheat instead. It’s frustrating that they consistently mess up our simple kids' sandwich orders. On top of that, the bag of chips we received tasted stale and tough to chew, as if they had been left out in the sun too long.
I had to wait a long time before anyone recognized me. The sandwich I ordered was just mediocre. The staff seemed more focused on having a loud personal conversation with another customer than on the service.
Best turkey sandwich I've ever gotten from a sub shop. Simple, fresh veggies, but it's the little bit of that garlic sauce that made it slam. Looking forward to going back. Reserva una mesa ahora
