We came here for a Friday lunch date and were very impressed with what this restaurant had to offer. Not immediately obvious from the street but Mrs Q is extremely spacious and nicely decorated inside. It was dead quiet and so we didn't have to wait for a table or service, can't comment on what it's like on a busy night. The cocktails are delicious and very creative although a little on the pricey side. The menu all sounded very interesting and we wanted to try it all. Would definitely recommend the duck pancakes as an entree to share. We also had the pork belly (melt-in-the-mouth) and soft shell crab (delicious and came with an excellent curry). Serves were generous and we took the leftover...

Great looking place and location firstly. If you're looking for dinner with opportunity for drinking and going out later, this is a good place.
Table service - very good. Plenty of staff and rarely had to wait for drinks to be topped up or served.
We ordered 8 different dishes ranging from small to large and all were of very high quality and portion size was excellent. Only thing i could fault was the crab dip - which was a little underwhelming in terms of taste and not visually appealing, but a minor criticism.
Other than that a near perfect place to have a meal. Fine food, wine and service, and a great start to a night out if you choose to do so.

Been looking forward to trying this new joint with my friends. Didn't kick off with a greatest first impression when our reservation was lost (even when I called earlier that day to confirm the booking). Our drinks order was taken but then the waitress didn't come back to take our food order, 20 min passed and I ended up hailing a staff down so we could order, as we were starving! Luckily the food came out quickly and was delicious. The salt and pepper egg plant was my favorite, wasn't a big fan of the pork belly, bit chewy. All in all the food was good just the service was a bit of a miss.
Beautiful space for a restaurant - it's upstairs an old ballroom. It would be lovely dining on the balcony in warmer months, looking down on the Gouger St bustle below. The menu is designed for sharing and we ordered everything from small to large plates. The chicken pad Tai looked so pretty with its egg net covering and the salt and pepper eggplant was moreish. Service was pleasant and dishes came quickly. Sharing between 5 and with an entertainment book discount (and only one mocktail or wine each) it was under $25 a head, which seemed an absolute steal for the amount of food.

Loved this restaurant, the decor, atmosphere, staff, service and food was amazing. We started with Duck pancakes, dumplings and sashimi, four of us shared these three dishes, all were enjoyed.
We then had the beef dish, soft shell crab, the best we have, plus the pad Thai. We finished off with the banana pudding and rice with mango dish, yummy
Had a great night, will definitely be back. Well done to all.

prompt service....staff accommodated us (group of 10) despite no reservation...good sized servings. Will definitely come and very much recommended.
Great place went here with a friend a few weeks ago and loved the decor, the service and the food. Found this on the entertainment app and was very satisfied with the dishes we ordered, the soft shell crab was amazing!
Empty place for lunch. Food was flavourless or overpowered. Service was average at the beginning to awful at the end. Don't go here.

Cosy place with very nice wall paintings. Food average and pricey. Ordered a couple of traditional Malaysian food but quite disappointing. Most of them were salty.
Fabulous place! Great service delicious cocktails and amazing food. Iv been to many restaurants and this one tops them all. Highly recommended it
