Excellent hidden gem to go to for brunch, lunch, afternoon tea, or simply a relaxing drink or snack. Set in what used to be the stables of Strelley Hall, the cafe has kept the unique features and heritage, giving the place a unique character. The food is freshly made using locally supplied ingredients, and the drinks are also locally sourced wherever possible. I chose the halloumi and chick pea salad, which was delicious and filling. There are plenty of choices covering all dietary needs. Seating is available both inside and out. Parking is free. Can become very busy at weekends. There are also a few independent shops to browse through. Well worth a visit.

This is my second time visiting this charming hidden gem in a remote location. The service was superb, with friendly ladies behind the counter who were willing to accommodate any request, including providing fresh lemon slices for our drinks. The quiche was fantastic - I had the salmon and broccoli, while my elderly friend enjoyed the cheese and onion quiche. The lime ginger cake was a delightful treat. It was a pleasure to enjoy homemade food in a lovely setting, with exceptional service, especially from the kind lady at the register. I will definitely be returning!

Forget it if you have mobility issues. The tills, cake display etc. are close to the entrance, but they won’t take your order unless you have a table number. And you won’t have that until you have found a table, and that means more walking, so it’s only set up for able bodied people. To help disabled customers, they could 1) keep a better track of which tables have been vacated, or 2) use a QR code system, like most places, or 3) be considerate and polite. They were none of those things.

I ordered two coffees and a scone. After waiting 20 minutes, the scone still had not arrived. I had to ask for it, and when it did come, it had been microwaved and was soggy. I felt like the scone had been forgotten and a simple apology would have been sufficient. The staff did not acknowledge the mistake, and by the time the scone arrived, I had already finished my coffee. They did provide me with another coffee when I insisted, but it was not the enjoyable experience I had expected. Reserva una mesa ahora

Such a disappointment. Arrived 11.15 am to have breakfast. Waited at outside counter to be served but no one came to window. Queued inside only to be told that it was too late to be served breakfast as it had gone past 11.30 by 5 minutes. Explained that I had been waiting to be served since 11.15 and could they make an exception. Told ‘no because chef was now preparing lunch!’ Makes no business sense at all 2 dissatisfied customers who went elsewhere and business loses income!

Fabulous place to go for lunch, offering a wide variety of choices suitable for many dietary needs, including gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan. Situated in the hidden village of Strelley as part of the Strelley Hall estate, the cafe is based in what was originally the stables, and the features have been well preserved. Portions were generous and mouthwateringly tasty. Very good value for money. Plenty of seating both inside and outside. Car park is free of charge.

We came here on bank holiday Monday, so it was busy, but not completely packed. Our orders arrived quickly. Portions were good, with a generous portion of crispy salad (not always the case, in some places). The feel of the place was relaxed and the prices were not too high, in this post-COVID and post-Brexit world. The staff were all pleasant. We would come again, especially to do a nearby walk.

The food at this restaurant is delicious, especially the homemade scones. The paninis are very nice as well, but it's disappointing that they no longer come with the homemade coleslaw. However, I do feel that the prices are a bit high for the portion sizes. Reserva una mesa ahora
