We ordered the Nanjing duck, the Yangzhou meatballs and the pork in special sauce. The pork was the undisputed winner. It's hard to beat a fork-tender piece of meat braised in a delicious, slightly sweet sauce complemented by plain white rice. The other two dishes were solid but had a tough act to follow. The duck didn't look appetising as it was so pale but we enjoyed the natural flavours of the meat. Having said that, a sauce would make it more interesting. The large meatballs came with bean thread noodles (tang hoon). Meatballs were a little mushy in texture for me but that might be the way they're meant to be?
