Only had the chicken Katsu curry. Breast piece chicken on delicious rich curry and rice . For some reason it felt like a meal that would have been mind blowingly good on a cold rainy day . First time having this dish and I enjoyed it. Had a very similar taste to the Maggie masala noodles. I did think however that given the price that more chicken and rice should be added. Will be back again on cold rainy day!
This restaurant offers excellent value for money with its simple and practical Japanese dishes. I tried the sushi, sashimi, and unagi udon (not on the menu, but you can ask the cook to swap beef with unagi). The gyoka was also very tasty. Most items on the menu are priced under AUD 14.50, with many around AUD 8.00. Don't miss out on this affordable and delicious dining experience!
The curry is very similar to Coco Ichibanya. The katsu is super thin but that's unfortunately somehow become the standard in Australia Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $1–20
Whilst the food was nice, reasonably priced and fast service, the venue is very dated and cold. it just wasn't a pleasant dining atmosphere. Would consider takeaway again but not dine in. Reserva una mesa ahora
The chicken katsu curry at this restaurant is absolutely delicious! I have been coming here for a few years now and it never disappoints. It's definitely the best!
nice food but portion sizes are small same prices as other japanese places in bentleigh/moorabbin but portion sizes smaller than most, so less value for money
