Nasib's - Reserva de mesa

The hidden gem of Toronto shawarma. It's insanely easy to miss, given its close proximity to Empire and Ghadir, but this is a can't miss spot. The place itself is unassuming. The wraps themselves look unassuming. And then you take a bite out of it, and all of your prior thoughts are thrown out the window. The meat is flavourful, juicy, and well seasoned. That goes for both the beef and the chicken. Couple that with fresh veggies and a healthy amount of tahini and you've got yourself the recipe for a great shawarma. There are so many shawarma options in this area but I came back here because the 1st time I was here, the service was so good! The people seem so genuine and really take care in preparing the food! I am on keto so I just had the regular plate with just salad and meat (no rice) and there are so many options for the salad toppings. They also make the salad to order, so thats nice. The hummus must be one of the best I've had. I love the oil that they coat it with. The only thing, is that the hot sauce wasn't hot enough for me. I've definitely found one of my new favourite spots!

Seems the owner has sold the business due to his health issues. Current folks are nice, the girl was all smiles and the cashier was courteous as well. However, certain food needs to be prepared by those who share them as their authentic and cultural food. The price is on the very high side and the portion is minimal. 2 shawarmas for CAD 14.99+tax is really on the high side. Would be ideal to either drop the price or give value to customers as there are other competitors with fair value just next door.

Lack of taste, not fresh at all. Far off from authenticity. Wanted to go to shawarma empire next door but they were packed. So thought I would give this place a shot. One things for sure, people that gave them 5 stars never actually had an authentic shawarma. I highly suggest you to stop being in denial, grow up and focus on your food. Yes I won't be back. Ordered the beef kafta plate. Food was alright. Beef kaftas were soft and somewhat moist. The spicy sauce was not spicy at all. Just a side observation, the guy taking my order did not wear a mask nor wore plastic gloves in handling my food the whole time. Come to think of it I don't believe I saw him washed his hands. Diners beware.

We tried this place for the first time and it wasn't bad. Chicken and beef tasted homemade, good quality. The hummus has good flavor and the garlic sauce too garlicky, for those who likes garlic is perfect! The salad was made right there and fresh. We probably come back. Thank you guys for the great meal.

My recent experience at the Nasib’s shawarma was awesome. I give 5 stars in quality, quantity, taste, price and service. The new management is very friendly. One thing you notice right away is the overall cleanliness as you enter the store. A must go place with a family.

I’ve been going here for 6 years and I’ve never been disappointed. Great service, doesn’t take long to get my meal, the food is amazing, and they’re all very friendly people here. Such an amazing place.

AMAZING food and even better service! Nasib and his wife treated us like family, and for that (along with our singing tastebuds) we’ll be back for sure! Highly recommend ordering one of everything.
