Wanted something hot to feel warm and toasty, so stopped by with my mom. It wasn't crowded on a Thursday afternoon. We ordered two clay pots: ribs with black bean sauce and chicken with lily flower fungus and one soup: Hog's Stomach with Ginkgo Nuts. The Hog's Stomach with Ginkgo Nuts soup was not piping hot... that was disappointing. It was good, I think it was a bit bitter and spicy due to the pepper. This soup is good for stomach problems. The chicken with lily flower fungus clay pot was my favorite. It was very flavorful, without the sauce. The chicken was moist, soft, and smooth. The lily flowers were delicious, great flavor omg and they also good for acne, a plus! The clay pot was 很香....

You can find authentic Cantonese style clay pot rice, dessert and herbal soups all in one! Nature Pagoda has been around for a while and I am finally trying it out. This is legit mom and pop hole in the walll type of biz. but worth it. We ordered the H16 Ribs and chinese sausage rice and H15: salted fish with tofu rice. Dessert, we got the steamed egg with ginger syrup. both rice cooked very well and all come with broccoli for the veggies. I'd have to say, their sauce is different from what I've had, more on the thicker side and less sweet. I actually prefer this than the dark sweet soy sauce. each pot, is good for 1 person, or 2 if you don't eat as much. The price range from $12.99-$15.99 e...

Traditional Cantonese spot that uses various eastern herbs and roots for their soups. Each soup is supposed to have its own health benefits. I really enjoyed my quail soup which was refreshing flavorful and there was a whole quail which was tender. I got the catfish porridge which was much more flavorful than typical bland Chinese porridge. And the catfish is actually cut fresh from the fish and not those fish fillet chunks. They are also known for their clay pot rice and Cantonese desserts. Recommend trying a soup rice pot/porridge It's located on a big road so you really have to be aware when to turn into their narrow street that leads to the parking lot. The lot is small so sometimes you'...

The service in this restaurant was horrible the old lady asked if we wanted the clay pot rice and I said yes very clearly and later when we ordered our food she asked us again if we wanted the clay pot rice and what flavor we wanted for the rice as if she never asked us the question, she had also asked another customer if they wanted the clay pot rice too. She didn’t even pay attention to what I had said to her, she had just ignored me. Another complaint is that she ignored the customers that are outside and told us to wait but let two other old customers that she knew in to eat first, like what kind of service is that? Serving the old customers first that just came and ignoring the customer...

This place gets packed really quickly so if you miss the 11:30 opening time it's hard to get a seat. Restaurant is small, only like 7-8 tables. You would have to wait 1-2 hours if you arrive around 12 pm. Saw so many yelpers leaving great reviews, I just had to come and try it myself! I was feeling tired this whole week because of jet-lag so I was feeling something hot and soupy. The herbal soup was perfect for the situation. Ordered the ginseng with black chicken soup, spare ribs and Chinese sausage casserole, water spinach, and for dessert got the steamed egg with ginger sauce and taro sago . Let's just say I was stuffed but a happy camper. I would definitely come here again !

Absolutely love the menu here, apparently it's a classic hole in wall establishment with over 30 years history. Really authentic Cantonese food, the type of food mom and grandmom would cook, very good home-cooked comfort foods. And some really nice clay pop dishes are excellent too (like frog legs lol). 5 stars!

A strong cotender for the best clay pot rice in the city. They have lunch special clay pots that are smaller in portions (but still cooked with much love) compared to their dinner opposite. Her sauce is a strange oyster sauce mix, unfortunately, instead of a sugar soy sauce white pepper mix.

4.5 with rounding. The rice pot definitely high level, the best I ever had. And they sell herb tea and Chinese dessert!! I really enjoy it. : price for dessert could be expensive but I feel like it’s not cheap stuff so yes. Come try the rice pot!

Saw this place on yelp and it was very authentic and yummy. Small spot, hole in the wall. Was impressed by their authenticity.
