I’ve been to this location countless times. Every time the seafood is consistently delicious. The line is typically long unless you get there during opening or on the week day. They have a large variety of seafood options (scallops, deviled crab, shrimp, clam strips, flounder, etc) my only critique is the seafood is plain without seasoning. You’ll get the flavor from the dips (tartare sauce cocktail sauce) both sauces are really delicious. But this is not a place that you would get garlicky butter sauce like a crab boil spot. Still! Very delicious! 9 10! What you see in the picture is the house platter!
I hadn't been here for over 10 years. I was pleasantly surprised. My fish was good and crispy. Very happy with the portion size, I felt I definitely got my money's worth. Coleslaw was good: shredded not minced. The staff were on top of it during a lunch rush and I got my food quick but everything had definitely been made to order.
We have been going to NC Seafood Restaurant for more than 20 years and it is the best value for seafood both in Raleigh and the coast. The family even eats here on the way to the beach. Parking: Plenty of parking at the State Farmers Market accept on the busy weekends when you may have to park further out in the parking lots.
The food was good and I had enough for a second. The platter is enough for two people if you are not a big eater Parking: The location is at the farmers market, so parking is very hard to find up close, but it's worth the walk for the food.

We purchase fish from here nearly every week, and it has consistently been excellent. I especially appreciate that they offer less common varieties, such as ribbon fish.
The seafood was excellent, I had the large Shrimp, my wife had the Oysters in a combo. It was a perfect lunch portion.
Best seafood in town! Parking: Tho parking isn't terrible, the Farmer's Market is usually crowded.
The trout was fried perfectly and the coleslaw was out of this world...
