I visited New China at Staples Mills Plaza for the first time this weekend and tried the General Tso's chicken with white rice and steamed vegetables. The food was fresh and delicious, especially the vegetables. The portion size was great, and I ended up sharing with my sons who also enjoyed it. The chicken was good, but not very spicy, which may just be my own preference. The restaurant was clean, had a friendly atmosphere, and the staff were all polite and courteous. I don't dine out often, but I will definitely be returning to this place when I'm too busy to cook next time.
I was given the wrong food, which I didn’t realize until I got home when I called them to tell them about their mistake I was told to bring back the wrong food. They did make new food, but gave absolutely no compensation from me having to drive all the way back with the wrong food to get the correct food Which they threw in the trash. No customer service when I asked if I could keep the box of fried rice that it come with the wrong order she told me no and then threw it in the trash.

I move a fair bit, and I’ve ordered Chinese from a bunch of differnt places, and this was the worst. My dumplings were thick and tasteless like they had been in a freezer and not made fresh.

Was disappointed. The chicken was meh and the rice tasted old and gritty like sand in my mouth. $20 is not worth it. The cook needs to go culinary school .

Our favorite chinese rest in the area. Recently asked for very spicy General Tso and they got it just right.
