Where do I start. the quoted time was 20:15 which was fine (40 minutes) but then after placing the order I was notified it'd be 20:45. Food gets delivered , I paid in cash and the guy just turns around without giving me my change back (ok it was 60p but he could've at least offered). I wasn't going to make a fuss about it as they were free poppadoms there which I didn't order it so I assumed that was for the late delivery. Anyway the worst bit food was dreadful, the rice was overcooked crunchy and hard. When me and my hubby moved to Glasgow, over 2 years ago ,we used to go to Kismet a lot, as it's literally round the corner of where we stay. At first, we loved their food: pizzas, donner meat and chips were first class. However, recently, just before they changed their name to New Kismet, something has changed and their food is not as good as it used to be, with pizzas being burnt, and pickles added to the topping, what gives sour taste. The staff at this restaurant are extremely disrespectful and rude. Customers often have to wait a long time to receive their food, and there is no proper queuing system in place. Some of the staff have been reported to be racist and have insulted customers in their own language. It is recommended not to purchase food from this establishment.
Have had tea time special many times from here all I can say is excellent, chicken pakora massive and tasty,lamb spicy korma best I've had good nan bread great for7.95.i also tried pizza and kebabs and have always enjoyed it.woth the money.
This restaurant is absolutely terrible. The garlic mayo is too watery, the pizza dough is not fresh, and the pizza itself is bland. The chips were definitely double cooked and not fresh. I would recommend avoiding this place.
Nice take away with a good sized menu and reasonable value for money. Portions are big so we always seem to get to meals out of it!
