Dickie Hum is the owner of the New York Café and has been for at lest the last 47 years that we have lived in Napanee. The restaurant is locked in the 60's with the décor that they have inside. I remember when the refurbished it but it was decades ago. Another thing that hasn't changed is the food. It is always piping hot and delicious. They do not hold back on the servings and one so called meal usually ends up going home as a second meal. The staff are friendly and amiable and know most of their customers. By far the best egg roles and chicken chow mein I've ever had anywhere. The restaurant has been there for years with its own authentic grill flavour that can't be dublicated. The Secret is the fresh juicey beansprouts in the eggroles not your cheap cabbage filler most Chinese food restaurants use. Chow mein is full of flavour wow so tasty and fresh. The chicken fried rice and chicken balls are also really good here. I've been eating here for over 20 years delicious. Friday and Saturday nights I find the best.

Amazing Chinese food, the decor is out dated badly. A small mom & pop restaurant, enjoyable real decent food, with orginal egg rolls, got have homemade up sauce. Some times items can be dry like lemon chicken or sweet and sour pork. The BBQ pork slices are done on site, the best. Bathrooms are a little in need if repair and cleaning, but great take out food for family and when you have guest's. Try to look beyond, enjoy at home.

The delivery driver clearly had our order fell over in his vehicle, and chose to rush is at the door. Manager was awesome and without hesitation, replaced our food and it was delicious as always!!! They go above and beyond to satisfy their clientell!!! Reserva una mesa ahora

Great tasting and not heavily battered Stir fry was very crisp and fresh My wife and I were very happy with our dinner experience and left without the nasty aftertaste that we get sometimes on leaving some oriental restaurants. Good coffee too

Not so pleased that the only meat on the buffet was chicken, would have loved to see some shrimp, spareribs, and especially wonton soup. Next time we will order from the menu, buffet isn't such a great bargain.

Ordered takeout tonight for dinner. I had the #3 -- an egg roll, chicken balls and chicken fried rice. Everything was delicious as always. We've been ordering here since I was a kid and it never disappoints.

My spouse has eaten here off and on over 50 years. We stopped recently during a road trip (my first time). Just as in the past, good food and service. Reasonable prices. Reserva una mesa ahora

I got take out and only went once . The food was ok and the people were very nice . The menu is limited to basic items with no spicy options .

The food is delivered within a decient time. Would order from their again in a heartbeat. My whole family loves when we order from there.
