We were seated within minutes of our reservation time, things were downhill from there. The service was so slow that it took more than an hour for us to get our meal. The menu states that they have gluten free options, however the staff needs to be trained on what gluten free is. Not just the front of the house, but the kitchen staff as well. Two of us have a gluten allergy the server we had told us she didn't know anything about it didn't care she was to busy. We knew that we were going to have a problem. The first dish I ordered was a simple beet goat cheese salad, well the cheese was breaded fried, first thing to go back. The main courses arrived, my fish was dry tasteless, the pasta dish...
Beautiful ambience, good Italian food and hospitality await you here. The menu has many lush options, and we enjoyed Calamari and beautifully seasoned Clams Casino to start the evening. From fresh fish, veal and chicken eaters we were satisfied with our selection and had to take goodie bags home. We shared a delicious dessert and expresso to finish the night! It is also a perfect place for your next affair, be it an engagement party, shower or anniversary celebration.
Nick's Tuscan Grill is a charming little restaurant with a wonderful ambiance, excellent service, and above all, delectable Italian food. My boyfriend and I were very pleased with each course and our server, Natalie, was absolutely amiable and accommodating. The entire staff was nothing but pleasant and we will certainly be dining there again! If you love Italian food, you will truly savor each bite at this little gem on Mineola Boulevard!
We loved the food at Nick's, but the service left much to be desired. The hostess was rude when seating us, and though the server was friendly, they were not attentive. It took an hour for our main course to arrive, and then another 10 minutes to flag down the server for grated cheese. One of the dishes was prepared incorrectly despite our specific request. Despite the delicious food, the service issues make it not worth the visit.

We were seated right away. Restaurant had nice crowd for a Tuesday night. Started out with hot antipasto. Large portion hot delicious. My wife had veal parmigiana which see enjoyed. I had salmon special topped with baby shrimp and crabmeat. EXCELLENT! The wine was reasonably priced as was our meal. Didn't get the waitress' name but she was also EXCELLENT! Would definitely recommend NICK'S TUSCAN GRILL!
I used a Groupon to visit this restaurant and was very impressed. The food was delicious, the portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable. The service was also top-notch. I enjoyed it so much that I returned with another couple a few weeks later, and they too were impressed with the experience.
We arrived for dinner on a Tuesday night and were the only customers in the restaurant for a while. The staff was friendly and attentive. Our food came out quickly due to the lack of other customers, and it was all delicious. Everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed their meals!
Had a great experience with Nick’s. The saffron risotto under my osso bucco was perfect. The shaft itself was boiled properly. The menu was cheap and the staff was attentive.

I think this was my th time there over the last year. The good has been very good each time. I highly recommend you try it.
