Since 2013, Nile Restaurant has been my go-to place for authentic and flavorful dining. The couple who owns the restaurant has done an incredible job of maintaining its rich culture and traditional flavors over the years. My all-time favorite dish is the Lamb Derek Tibs, paired with Spicy Awasi. While I've tried other items on their menu, nothing compares to this combination for me. I used to visit Nile regularly, but this was my first time returning after the new management took over. The remodeling and the addition of classical music created a cozy atmosphere, which I appreciated. However, the service and food were terrible. We waited over an hour for our meals, and I was so frustrated that I even suggested to my friend that we leave. The food was completely lacking in flavor—I truly mean it when I say it was tasteless. It felt like a waste of both time and money. This place doesn't even deserve one star. I will never return!

I have been coming here for years and today will be my last. Paid $47 for bowls full of oil. This is unacceptable. Bag was full of oil and my food is drenched. Money wasted.
