I recently dined at Norms, and unfortunately, my experience was not as positive as I had hoped. Upon arrival, my girlfriend and I sat down and promptly placed our orders. However, to my surprise, we noticed that several tables that had arrived after us were served their food before us. This was frustrating, as we were left waiting longer than expected. Feeling concerned about the situation, I approached the manager, Betty, to discuss our experience. Unfortunately, she initially disagreed with my observation, stating that I was incorrect about the timing of the other tables. I suggested that she check the cameras for verification, and she later returned to acknowledge that I was indeed right,...
Was visiting from Colorado and took the family here for breakfast. The server we got kept mishearing everything we said. And they ran out of things but never mentioned it until after it was served and was asked about. She was very forgetful as well. Had to ask for a drink because it wasn’t brought, then had to wait for condiments that took her a while to come around to ask for some. Place wasn’t that busy that you’d think maybe she was stressed out, she was just trying to do everything fast and multitask while forgetting about things we asked for. Don't get the green chilaqiles, the were very sour. But honestly oh well, maybe Mexican is not their strong suit, I've had plenty of good meals there before. Nolan the “manager” is a joke. He ignored my elderly mother when she was waiting patiently to be acknowledged then when he heard she wanted to place an order for take out he stated he would get the manager and never came back. Another server finally assisted my mom after checking on her to see if she had been helped. My mom mentioned the previous person had said the manager was coming to take her order, only to find out that that man was the manager. It’s sad to see how places have no empathy for people.
I had to leave a review for Paula! She is the best server at this norms. She is fast and very attentive. She gives excellent service. We only sit down with her because of her positive attitude. Makes spending my money more pleasant. She deserves to be acknowledged by the company.
