First time visit a d we loved everything. We went early, so we had a choice between the happy hour or dinner menu and actually ended up doing a little of both, but the happy hour menu was sufficient itself and was smaller portions and prices, excellent for a light meal. The bar section quickly filled for the HH meals and drinks, but the food and service were tasty and timely. Happy Hour side was energetic, but not overly loud, and the dinner side was lower key, but patrons on both sides all seemed happy and satisfied.
Went to a SoDel Cooking Demo. We had the Executive Chef of Northeast Seafood as host with a chef from Papa Grandes doing shrimp tacos. Tortilla from scratch. Fresh shrimp marinaded from scratch. Served with Guac from scratch and Bang Bang sauce. This woman is not good, she is exceptional!!!! The tacos were out of bounds!!! Served with a spicy strawberry margarita that also was exceptional!!! As always, well done SoDel!!!!
