We used to frequent this establishment on a weekly basis many moons ago, when it was known as "Fred Youngs". It has been through various iterations since and so we thought we'd check out the latest edition. We shouldn't have bothered. The coffee was weak, the service was average (at best), the food tasteless and the time from order to delivery was atrocious.We visited around 1:15 on a Saturday and the place was about two-thirds full. It was Kitty breakfast and also a friend's birthday that we celebrated in a private room up In The End Corner ..the menu was given to us many days in advance to select our breakfast dish ....I tried the corn fritters On The Bed of salmon it had some cherry tomatoes and a few pieces of cheese.... it was yummy no doubt and different... did not get a chance to sit outside on the coffee table so shall visit again and to try the chicken sandwiches as I hear they are really delicious... it was a nice experience though... the service was really very nice but I wish they had a wheelchair accessibility to even the private room as i had to climb about 4 steps to go to this private room and even to get...
Dropped in yesterday for a quick bite prior to a busy afternoon. The coffee arrived quickly but it was 40 minutes until the meals appeared. My lamb salad was a disappointment. The dressing in a side dish resembled the colour and texture of cold gravy but without ANY flavour and my expectations of pink and succulent lamb were dashed by the appearance of mission brown coloured dry slabs of meat. The spinach and pomegranate salad was very nice, despite a lack of edible dressing. We won't be returning to this particular cafe anytime soon.
Wow. Recently opened for dinner, but dead quiet as we walked past. We read the menu and thought to ourselves; Carribbean food? What's that about? Can't be that good! Turns out its ridiculously delicious!! Every dish we had was beyond expectation. The chef there really knew how to make us salivate. We were absolutely delighted with the food and service. Will definitely be back.

I may have reviewed this place awhile back. I returned for brunch today. My friend had the lamb burger and I had the sweet potato noodles with beef and black fungus . Both were specials and we both really liked the food. The decor is nice with comfy chairs and you aren't crammed in . The wait staff are friendly and the overall experience is very pleasant
Have been here a few times , this place so clean & fresh seating so comfortable Pretty in summer can sit out door too. I like one of the Spanish Breakfast couldn't remember the name ( there was beans sausages and mushroom in a little Hot plate serve with sourdough bread wow heaven ! Recommended ❤️the pancake were nice too Yum
Came here for a work coffee but would enjoy coming here on a date. It's a pretty place with lots of sun coming through the front. I was there around 12pm. I had some poached eggs and toast. They we were made well.
Nicely fitted out cafe with an excellent menu range. We had a very nice salad and lovely chips but found the coffee a tad weak for our liking. Service level was adequate at best. Would return now and then.

Cute place with great ambience. Great coffee and cakes. Good service and not overly pricey. Varied and lovely menu but didn't get to try it. Perhaps on another day.
Chicken burger was over cooked and dried filled with colesaw wasnt that nice. over prive for what it is. Coffee fries were fresh and hot.
