This place is great. When you go first, the place looks small, but there are actually 3 other areas that a din in, another bar where live music can play, and a top floor for parties. I went on Thanksgiving eve and the place was crowded, but good cause the live music they played on that day really helped make this a place I liked. Even better was on Wednesday night (I think after 8 or 9) they have happy hour, which is $3 every drink. I was blown away that they did this every Wednesday and I died to go back since I found out. Definitely stop a place when you hang out a cool place
I love this place sincerely! I have eaten several times here and always have a wonderful time. The bar page is ideal for a burger and a game and the restaurant page has always incredible specials (of course you can order everything from dinner menu while you eat at the bar). Overall a clean restaurant and fun bar with amazing food and service. the Ale House has the best thin crust pizza in the north NJ, the sushi is from this world (yes, this Italian restaurant has authentic sushi) and the steaks are also incredible! The coconut shrimp is my favorite appetit!
The best burger I've had since moving to New Jersey. Worst fish and chips I've ever had or seen. I don't understand how a restaurant that sells such great steaks and burgers would sell frozen, overcooked, dry fish. Some of the wait staff could be better but most are great, including the bartenders.
The staff is amazing and the food! Never had a bad meal here; 5$ Filet mignon on Mondays especially! If you go down the stairs from the main formal restaurant, there is a large sports bar... Pool table on the back, darts and great specialties. Perfect small town bar near foot!
