The food at Oddfellows Tavern is disappointing, but the desserts are fantastic. It’s clear the head chef has full control over the menu, and unfortunately, even a beautifully made cheesecake was ruined by unnecessary toppings like green plums and balsamic vinegar. I had to scrape those off just to enjoy the cheesecake itself. I probably won’t return for the food, but I might come back for the desserts and drinks. Next door at Woodbridge Crossings, the steak and potatoes are cooked perfectly, though their desserts aren’t great.
On Thursday, I tried their clam chowder and was a bit disappointed; it tasted more like a really good potato soup. Can you believe it had too much bacon? I also had the slow-cooked tri-tip sandwich (French dip), which was excellent – no complaints there. The fish and chips were above average as well. The atmosphere was wonderful, and I would rate the service a perfect 12 out of 10. I just wish the staff had a bit more knowledge about the history of the building.
The prices at Oddfellows Tavern feel steep for the quality offered. I tried the lamb chops, which were lightly seasoned and served with a tiny amount of mint sauce. The chops were small, mostly fatty, and the whole dish was soaked in oil. The vegetables were decent but also overly oily. At $42.00, it's disappointing that the meal didn’t come with a soup or salad. For better quality, I suggest trying Papapavlos in Lodi or Stockton instead.
The calamari was the smallest portion we've ever encountered, and the pieces themselves were tiny as well, though they were tasty. However, they didn't justify the $16 price tag. The fish and chips were fantastic, but the coleslaw was the worst I’ve ever experienced; it tasted like old pre-packaged slaw. Unfortunately, they don't serve apple pie on Wednesdays. The service was outstanding, though!

I've been to Oddfellows twice, and each time was excellent. The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. The wine selection is affordable too! I can’t wait to come back—it's a truly great spot.
fantastic. our service was great. Eating was good, but too expensive for what we have. the facts were good, but not $65 good. desserts were all disappointing and very expensive. except what we loved.
eating was good, but a little expensive. I could have gone to texas roadhouse and got a better steak for less money. the atmosphere was nice, but quite resign. the menu might be a little bigger.
Our waitress was very pleasant and professional. Her recommendations were very good. The food was very good but slightly over priced.
