Old Town Wine House

I discovered this restaurant last Friday. Compared to Europe, it’s a bit pricey, but I’m really glad a place like this exists here in Texas, as it fosters great conversation. They offer a wide variety of wines from Europe, South America, Australia, and the U.S. I tried the Cava de Catalunya for $8, plus service, and it was fantastic. Although I haven't tried their charcuterie, it looks delicious as well. The place had many regulars on Friday night, and there’s seating available on the terrace, even in the heat. As is typical in Texas, the space is quite large, yet it still feels intimate, even if you’re not very familiar with Dallas-Fort Worth.

I went out for drinks with friends on Friday after work, and this was the spot my friend picked! It's a cozy, smaller restaurant with open seating located in downtown Lewisville. I loved the atmosphere and could easily understand why it's such a popular place in the area. I ordered a glass of Riesling, which was excellent—not too sweet and not overly bitter. They even offer wine samples before you make your choice. We all decided to try the flatbreads since they were only $12 on Fridays. I had the Buffalo chicken flatbread, and while it was tasty, I wish there had been more chicken on it. Overall, our server was very friendly and attentive!

My friends and I absolutely adore this restaurant! The food is fantastic; I particularly enjoy the Brussels sprout salad and the flatbreads. They offer a great selection of wines, and we're members of their wine club. We appreciate that we can taste the wines before making a purchase and that we have the option to choose which ones we buy. The decor perfectly captures the charm of a wine house—it's just delightful! The staff is excellent and very attentive. I highly recommend this place to everyone. And for those who don’t drink wine, they do have beer options available too!

What a fantastic spot! We had no idea this charming old town area was here, and discovering a wine bar was such a pleasant surprise. I really appreciate that they’re open for lunch. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The cheeseboards were incredible! We definitely felt like we got our money's worth. One of my favorite cabs discovered here. Wed half off bottles. Salmon dinner is excellent. Service is hit or miss and hamburger with Fries is average. Cute atmosphere.
