I have waited to come to Olio for a couple years because its about an hour from where I live, but yesterday was my anniversary and we were celebrating in the area. I couldn't have asked for a better dining experience anywhere. A little unassuming on theoutside, but this place is SERIOUSLY special! As a lifelong fine dining server, I can tell you it is not easy to do what theyare doing over at Olio. There is not a single corner cut at this place- the pasta is made in house, even the burger buns aremade in house. I think during Covid, a lot of places had to condense menus and you often see a lot of menu options looking likedifferent iterations and assemblies of eachother. At Olio, I didnt see...
Excellent meal as always from Olio. Great menu options. Specials are always fresh and intriguing. Had the halibut special with French potato salad and yellow pepper sauce. Fish was well seasoned and flavorful. Only complaint would be that it mayhave been just a touch overcooked and thus a bit dry....this is preferable to underdone though....potato salad was refreshing ona hot day and the yellow pepper sauce was a nice compliment to both... My wife had the salad pizza which she said was excellentand enough for lunch the next day. For dessert we had the banana and chocolate ravioli with malted milk ball icecream....thiswas outstanding and more than enough to share....could easily have served 4...
The food at Olio Bar was outstanding. My seafood papardelle was fresh, flavorful, and reasonably priced, while my partner's cheesy grits were equally delicious. Our server, Kim, was warm and attentive. I also appreciated the excellent selection of non-alcoholic beverages on the menu.
I can't wait for my next visit to Olio Bar. I would like to extend my gratitude to the dedicated kitchen staff for their commitment to delivering a top-notch dining experience. Their hard work is evident in every dish, and I will definitely be returning as a loyal customer in the future.
Happened to be in the Groton area and stopped for lunch at Olio. Very nice outdoor patio with shade, lovely helpful staff and upscale, delicious appetizers. The calamari was light with great dipping sauces; the potato nachos were crunchy and flavorful.Highly recommend for an easygoing, enjoyable eatery.

He was in the Groton area and stayed at Olio for lunch. Very nice outdoor terrace with shade, nice helpful staff and upscale, delicious appetizers. The Calamari was easy with large diving sauce; the potato nachos were crispy and tasteful. Very recommended for a smooth, pleasant meal.
Another amazing place to immerse!! The waitress was very attentive and supportive during my time. Sad I couldn't have the alcoholic Mocha's they had but the lava cake was incredibly delicious!! Another place I would recommend without a doubt!!
The dining experience was exceptional, and the vibe was wonderful. The lobster linguine was exquisite, and the steak was cooked to perfection. Thank you!
A quick post-lunch review: Olio offered an impressive variety of salads with inventive toppings. I found myself torn between choosing 3 or 4 options...
