We had heard great reviews from friends who had been to Olive Hawker we were not disappointed. The wait staff were all very friendly, engaging, accommodating and prompt. The food was delicious and the proportions fantastic. This was a Mother's Day dinner for my wife. We had our little Miss Almost 2 with us. Always a challenge (and thus a rare occurrence) for us to eat out with bubba. The staff were very accommodating of us alternating taking her for walks in between dishes, and were very good with her, engaging in conversation. We cannot recommend this restaurant enough. What a fantastic restaurant! Not only is the food amazing, but the staff go out of their way to ensure that you are treated like family! Each time I have been to Olive I have been met with highly attentive staff, and food that I want to order seconds of! This restaurant has now become my go-to for everything from nights where I’m too lazy to cook, to special occasion dinners. I cannot recommend this restaurant more highly!!
The food was amazing! The menu had lots to chose from, the food was quick to arrive. Service was a bit slow to start with, they seemed a bit understaffed considering how busy it was but it did get better as it got a little less busy, but the service was really friendly!! We were very happy with the price for 4 people and drinks we were pleasantly surprised! We really enjoyed our night and we will definitely be going back.
This has been one of the best experiences I have had in a restaurant in a while. The staff were not only friendly they were hilarious and had amazing service. Then the food, the food was fantastic but the desert was next level. I had the baklava which was spectacular. Well done to the staff here next time I'm back in Canberra I'm definitely coming back.

Last week was the first time visit to Olive. Meet Greet was good. Lunch time menu was great, it was hard to select what to have, the owner suggested the lamb shoulder with lemon, it was absolutely melt in the mouth meal. Entree and desert was also very good. Will certainly visit Olive again and have also recommended it to others.
We had a take away because they were fully booked. Looked like wonderful vibe when we went to pick up. Large portions, tasty.
We love this place and George. The food is divine, the wine menu great, and the service is excellent.
Don't drive past this hidden treasure, some of the best food and service we have ever had.
