I visited the restaurant twice over the bank holiday weekend. The first time was for breakfast, and I highly recommend the breakfast bagel. The second visit was for lunch, where I had the Billy Goat Burger, which is named for the goat cheese it contains rather than the meat. It was delicious, well-seasoned with salt and pepper. The place was quite busy during both visits, so I would suggest making a reservation ahead of time.
This charming, bustling restaurant offers a wonderful atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious homemade cakes, along with freshly baked pastries. I enjoyed a breakfast roll served in a fresh long ciabatta, which was delightful. The location boasts stunning views of the sea, adding to the experience. The prices were reasonable and the service was excellent. We would definitely return if we find ourselves in the area again.
Called in for food on our way round the lake as we thought it looked nice from the outside and were not dissapointed. The menu had a good selection and we were all happy with our choices. In fact the 10 year old said his burger was 'amazing '. Friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. A lovely place to re-fuel.
I enjoyed a delightful afternoon tea at the picnic bench with prosecco, and it was a wonderful experience. The food was incredibly fresh and homemade, which made for a lovely change! There's a lot I could say. Between the decor...the ambiance...the staff...the food...the clientele even...I couldn't say which was more impressive. So much so, there are no pictures, so you can experience it all without spoilers. Altogether the experience was simply sublime.
