We have been here several times in the really nice historical cafe on Schönberger beach right behind the dike. Since it was nice and sunny weather, we decided this time to sit in the wind-protected, idyllic coffee garden under a flowering chestnut tree. We immediately knew what we wanted to order. Otherwise you have really trouble choosing the delicious homemade cakes, cakes, waffles and pancakes. The seasonal offer was waffles with fresh strawberries, 1 bullet vanilla ice cream and cream, which we naturally took as strawberry fans. There was a latte Machiatto. Place looks so cool from the outside.. But also in the inside as well.. The ambiance was nice.. Kinda like giving you that back into the old times feels. The cakes.. Are so tempting..too bad I only got to try one..I didnt wanna shock them if I 'd buy 2 slices and I 'd eat them alone.. But the one I had (Mango cake) tasted so lecker. The sweetness and creaminess of the cake was perfect. Definitely made with love. I would definitely come back to taste other cake flavors here. Plus.. The staffs were all nice and friendly.

Friendly, quick service in a cosy, traditional northern German environment very close to the sea. Great selection of cakes, even small lunch available. Recommend!
