Absolutely terrible service from the moment we came in. My husband and I came at 11:10 and we were greeted by an older gentleman with ?pick a booth, we close in 30 minutes.? You too. We sat and waited for about 10 minutes before a waitress approached us. We have kept our order in mind the 30-minute warning we receive on arrival. We ordered breakfast that you would accept would be hot or at least warm. Food came about 6-7 minutes later cold than ice. My meal had toast on the side that was used with butter. I can only assume it had been caught by another table. Absolutely disgusting and unbelievable that the waiter did not notice it when he broke it out. I pointed it out and he brought out new...
As soon as I arrived at the diner, I knew I had to give it a try. While the prices are a bit on the higher side, the generous portion sizes make it worthwhile. The servings are quite hefty! The restaurant is impeccably clean, and the interior design is stunning, blending a vintage vibe with modern touches. The food is delicious, and the waitstaff is very attentive. I would definitely return. Additionally, the space is quite spacious.
Although I've dined here before, this visit was all about the other guests. It was a farewell to friendships and committees that have known each other for 10 years. Omega Diner provided a warm and friendly atmosphere, allowing us to reminisce for hours while enjoying their delicious food. The ambiance was so comfortable that time just flew by. We will definitely be back!
The location is stunning, and there's parking available! The diner is as clean as your own home! It's quite rare to find a place like this lately in New York, making this spot a true gem. This is a hot spot for locals and after coming here, it is obvious why. The service is fast and the waiter was very accomodating. The coffee is strong and piping hot. The food is reasonably priced, fresh and served in large quantities. I enjoyed my dining experience here and will be back!
