Ostin's - Reservar una mesa

I had tried to modify my reservation for 15 minutes earlier than what I had reserved but was unable to do so through Open Table, which was strange since when we arrived at the restaurant it was practically empty. We were seated at a table by the window which was chilly given that it was a cold day outside. We ordered a bottle of white wine but there was no chilling bucket brought to the table. The food was passable, however, the fries were frozen not homemade. It was an okay meal but given such a small lunch menu everything on the menu should be excellent. Would not return again.

The buffet was a touch underwhelming, but I did not leave dissatisfied. I think cramming it into the room, was not a good idea. Perhaps it needs a repositioning for folks to move more freely throughout the restaurant. One of the great ideas was to pre-pay. The gratuity was 18%, which I did not mind as the staff were FANTASTIC!! The owners of the restaurant have a very good reputation for restauranting in St. Catharines. That reputation is in tact for me. I certainly will be back.

I thought that the entrance to the restaurant was confusing and nobody was there to greet you. We waiting for a bit to find out that the entrance was on the other side. The room that had the buffet wasn’t big enough for the amount of people in the room. Kids running around and screaming wasn’t appropriate. Some tables could have been located in a better place. Our group attended Ostin's for the Easter Sunday brunch. The greeter, the facility and table arrangements, the servers and food quality and selection were all first class. I believe our group received a great experience for the cost and will visit this establishment again.

The restaurant was not clean. The server came to the table, her outfit was covered in pet hair. During breakfast, the coffee carafe was covered in crust, likely not washed in a few days.
