My wife and I aren't particularly fond of udon, but given the outstanding ratings, we decided to give it a try. We waited about 15 minutes for a table on a weekday evening, and while we waited, we were served some complimentary tofu. We placed our orders promptly, with everyone opting for the curry udon with tempura shrimp (I added a fried egg).
The noodles were well-prepared—not quite al dente, but close enough. The shrimp were fantastic, served hot right from the kitchen. The fried egg added a lovely touch, and the broth was incredibly flavorful.
