We went there week after walking over from a village nearby. It wasn’t busy so found a good spot in the garden and noticed blackboards with snacks or ‘beer bites’ as they are more commonly known. I had different ones out off the list and have to say they were fantastic. Sweet potato curry bites, pancetta and cod bites plus Spanish meatballs were very tasty. My husband always goes for the burger as says one of the best locally. All in all couldn’t fault this-worth nipping along to try this tasty snack menu they have!
Had lunch in a group of adults and kids today. The food was very good and the service was great. They looked after us well. One of our group is vegetarian, and asked for a roast dinner minus the meat, which the pub were happy to serve and was really good. It seems that every village around that area has a pub, and this one is a good choice.

Everything you expect from a village pub! Great food, absolutely amazing service and good prices! P.S. The steak and peppercorn sauce was brilliant!
This was the first time at this pub. We sat in the garden with our dogs. Very good menu, had a lovely lunch. Will definitely be returning.
