Where to start: entree is a tastefully decorated bar to enjoy an aperitif. The main room is beautifully decorated in a marine style (as is all staff) with a magnificent view of the lake. Staff is amazing: professional but never „stiff“. Regional (chasselas) white wine...for starters was top. We had salmon/foie gras to start with. Both were exceptionally tasteful. The food first of all in the restaurant is great, they have tasting menus, wide choice of fish and meat meals both, for desert the availability of cheese or deserts trolley, and many options of local / foreign wines, though the service could be better. We had experience in restaurants business ourselves so it's not hard to spot out that the staff is not that good in sorting priorities. You can see them filling glasses of wine, discussing reservations in between themselves when some of the customers sit 15 minutes without menu and then another 25-30 minutes without getting an order taken, while doing minor things as taking deserts trolley to others, that can wait, we even wanted to leave the...

as part of my daughter's engagement, all the restaurant staff played the games to make the surprise perfect. they warned the customers present on our actions with camera, smartphones and go pro.The meal was superb. Bravo to the team! A small flat: facilities, parking and some finishing details in the building are not at the level of the 5 stars.

the restaurant was unfortunately complete during our stay. We were offered room service, which proved perfect. we ate on our terrace facing the lake, fast and perfect service. The breakfast buffet was very good and very complete.

as expected at a 5 star hotel, the price level is rather high, but the food is excellent. the service was rather moderate.
