Palo Fierro Tacos - Reserva de mesa

I really wanted to love this place, but I have to be honest about my experience. The customer service was fantastic; the young lady who assisted me was friendly and very helpful. However, the food left much to be desired. I ordered a quesadilla with carne asada, but the cook used only mozzarella and cheddar cheese instead of Mexican cheese, which was disappointing for a Mexican restaurant. The carne asada was chopped into tiny pieces, and it just did not taste good. Plus, there was an overwhelming amount of cheddar cheese. Overall, I have to give it a rating of one and a half stars, and that's solely due to the excellent service. Unfortunately, I don’t think I will be returning.

Of the two times I have visited this establishment, I’ve been absolutely pleased with their service and quality of food. Their albondigas was a winner today! Lots of flavor in every bite and loaded with meatballs and veggies. My first visit I tried the quesabirria taco and a taco de cabeza, the meats were so tender and juicy but I think could have been more flavorful. All in all, a good place to try for yourself. I would revisit them whenever I’m in the mood for some fine Mexican dishes.

I was in the mood for tacos, so I decided to try this place. I ordered the taco combo with carnitas and carne asada fillings, which included three tacos, rice, and beans. I typically evaluate a Mexican restaurant based on their rice and beans, and these were well done. However, the carne asada was lacking in flavor, and while the carnitas were an improvement, they were a bit dry. I did enjoy the yellow tortillas, but overall, the experience was just mediocre for me.

My husband just picked up 2 taco plates the food was very disappointing lacked favor the salsa saved the taco. The meat quality was not great we ordered carne asada it was chopped up and looked like ground beef.The beans had an old lard favor. The worst was the Horchata soooo sweet had an awful taste I am not sure what off brand powder they are using we will not be returning. Wasted $30+ bucks. Thanks a lot! Reserva una mesa ahora

Avoid this place during lunch hours! The service is incredibly slow. I've been waiting for 35 minutes for just three tacos!

I ordered a carne asada burrito and the meat is old and dry; it tastes like the residue from cleaning the grill.
