Update: Visited Saturday, August 27, 2022. Brianna the waitress was amazing. 5 stars for Brianna. The food was 3 stars. Ordered Calamari Mozzarella appetizers. Unfortunately, the Calamari came out with a hair in the dish. They took it away and brought a new dish. Not a big issue for us. The replacement dish was hot and appeared like a fresh replacement dish. Again, unfortunately, it smelled like fish. That's not a good sign of freshness. Mozzarella was good. Ordered the surf and turf dinner to split since we had 2 appetizers. The steak was marinated in an odd tasting marinade. The meat was tender and it was edible. We just didn't understand it. I had heard wonderful things about this restaurant, so I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, I was not impressed with the food. The lobster seafood cakes were advertised as homemade, but did not taste like it and were not worth the high price of around $30. The skirt steak sandwich was just okay. The biggest disappointment was that the bar was out of white wine, which was unexpected for a restaurant with a full bar. On a positive note, our server was friendly and we liked the atmosphere. I hope they can make improvements because it is a convenient location for me and I enjoy supporting local businesses.
Attended a party here, was quite impressed with food and service. Cold antipasto very good just needed some balsamic vinegar. Hot antipasto was excellent, included oysters,baked clams, fried calamari. Then penne vodka was one of the best I've ever had. Unfortunately all this great stuff led up to a disappointing entre of flank steak with onions, broccoli, carrots, and mashed potatoes. A lot of food, but tasted nuked in a microwave.
